Marcel, after using Ketopia, has lost 41 pounds but more importantly has reduced his insulin by 75%. Some days he does not even need it.
Marcel + Maggie L.
Marcel has been a diabetic for thirty years. When I met him for the first time my first impression and long lasting one was that he was an incredible man with a beautiful personality.
However, he struggled with mobility and for the most part was in a wheel chair as it was the only way for him to get around.
Prior to November 2015:
He was 5’5″ and weighed 233 lbs and his waist measurement was 53″.
He was on 5 X 40 units of insulin and 3 X 500mg Metformin.
And for his pain he was taking 4 to 8 Tylenol Extra-Strengths daily.
At this point with current life style and while working with his doctor following the Canadian Diabetes Guidelines, the outcome looked very bleak. The path he was on meant all the numbers above would increase: the years of being a diabetic, his weight and waist size and the amount of insulin and Metformin he was taking. At this rate he would eventually max out on all his meds with devastating disease progression. So why is Marcel smiling?
Well I am happy to say that Marcel, after using Ketopia, has lost 41 pounds but more importantly has reduced his insulin by 75%. Some days he does not even need it.
And those 4 – 8 Tylenols that were destroying his liver and kidneys have been happily replaced by the PowerStrip (a drug-free topical class 1 medical device for pain relief). Also the strips helped him reduce swelling on his ankles to normal.
Such a beautiful recovery is so well suited for such a lovely man and the progress is ongoing!
Maggie lost over 21 lbs with Ketopia, but just as importantly, her energy level went through the roof! Maggie was also thrilled to notice her “joint “issues that she was experiencing on a daily basis disappeared!!
“I am thoroughly enjoying the ease with which I can now prepare and/or adapt food to Ketogenic diet. Once I got my mind-shift to what foods were appropriate, it has become intuitive as to what to choose – and a lot easier than at first anticipated!!”
